Look in the mirror. What do you have on? How would you define your style? If someone asked for directions to your style, what address would you use? Has your sense of style always resided there?


High End Ave: The sky is the limit. When thinking of high-end fashion, one would typically envision garments draping lean models as they sashay down the catwalk. The latest trends that fashion designers, brands or “houses” present during fashion week would certainly be considered high-end fashion. It is the caliber of apparel that you will find in many upmarket fashion boutiques in New York, Milan, and in Paris and of course, in your closet.


Sassy But Classy Way: You are fixated on pearls and lace. You believe that women of prominence proudly wear pearls and can easily pull of flirty fabrics such as a lace cami underneath the dark power suit. Come Friday night, you pull out your party pearls and proudly don red lipstick. You don’t smoke because not only is it a bad habit, but the smoke can turn your pearls brown and cause them to crack, and you are not having that!


Hot to Trot Highway: You are a true sex kitten who always wears heels and lipstick. Cleavage is a must and you are of the belief that the tighter, the better. When you step out of the house, your objective is to turn heads and stop traffic. You know how to kick it up a notch in something so basic as a simple pencil skirt from the Gap. You always show up at the game ready to play and you always get car doors opened for you because, well, you are the sex kitten. Meow!


All Over the Damn Place: If you like it, you buy it. Point blank. Trashy, tasteful, plain or plaid, you can make it all work but draw the line at combat boots and baseball caps. You don’t necessarily play it safe but you’re not over the top either. You definitely will not be caught rearranging your outfit all night long because that tight, short skirt won’t stay put or that off the shoulder number keeps falling way down to your waist. When it’s all said and done, you have received enough compliments to make you want to wear that same outfit again, soon…like tomorrow.

Trendy Trail: You spend a lot of time in Forever 21 which means you spend a lot of money in Forever 21. There isn’t much in your closet that you can wear from last year because well, it’s now out of style. But who cares because you look like a page from this months magazine.

  4. I love this post! I would like to be stylish all the time and to have a particular style that I could stick too but I think mostly I’m All Over The Damn Place! I like all sorts of clothes, when I’m at home I like to be comfy but sometimes I dress up a bit just for the hell of it, even if I’m just going to the supermarket!

  18. I do believe that the intersection where these meet at a roundabout is where you will find me…. its otherwise known as crisis junction. There I am doing laps, round and around and around. No wonder Im so dizzy. One day I may even figure out what direction I want to take for longer than a day.

  21. this is a really funny post 🙂 not sure if I could apply any of these completely to me, but the All Over the Damn Place one sounds pretty close to the way I style myself… I do tend to try a lot of different looks, I enjoy re-inventing myself and go for one style one day and another the next. I’m not crazy about trends and wouldn’t wear absolutely everything, but my style-range is pretty wide.

  23. If I had to pick I’d say Sassy but Classy, but I’m hard to define. So maybe All Over The Damn Place? Hmmm, I want to be High End but my kindergarten teacher/college student salary doesn’t allow for it. And I do shop at Forever21 but I mostly stick to basics.
